Due to the overwhelming success of the new 2018/19 Home Shirt, with sales currently double last season for the same period, the initial delivery of Adults Shirts are now sold out.
The 2nd shipment has unfortunately been delayed due to an issue at the Nike factory manufacturing the shirts.
Nike are doing everything that they can to get the shirts back into stock as quickly as possible. We will keep supporters updated on expected delivery dates.
Junior sizes remain in stock for the Home Shirt, while the Away Kit is unaffected.
As a gesture of goodwill to the Sky Blues supporters who are now going to have to wait a little longer to receive their new Adult Home Shirt, Nike are offering a free gift for all orders placed online for the new Adult Home Shirt from now until it arrives back in stock.
The Nike gifts are available to view and select when ordering the 18/19 Adult Home Shirt through the CCFC Online Store. To ensure you are one of the first to receive your shirt from this delivery and to receive your free Nike gift pre order now here
Arni Pjetursson, Nike UK Teamwear Division Manager, said “We have been delighted with the response to the new shirts from the fans, as well as the success the Club enjoyed on the pitch last season.
“We would like to apologise for the delays we are currently experiencing on the next home shirt delivery and we are doing everything to get it expedited from production.
“Please note in the meantime that all other Nike Coventry fan items are fully available now in the store and online.”
Dave Boddy, Coventry City Chief Executive, said: “We have been very pleased with how well the new shirt has been received since it was launched at the end of June, and to have doubled sales compared to last season is very impressive.
“However at the same time, we are extremely disappointed that the next delivery has been delayed and that there is no stock available of the home shirt.
“We have raised this in the strongest possible terms with our kit supplier.
“Nike have made the gesture of a free gift to supporters that pre-order online for the next delivery, and we shall be continually encouraging them to resolve the problem as a priority.”
