Coventry City enjoyed their first full day on the Pre-Season tour to Spain on Monday.
After breakfast, the Sky Blues made their way down to the training pitch with the heat increased through the morning. Starting earlier than they would back home at Ryton, the squad went through their stretches and warm-up drills before the footballs came out.
It was a possession based session, with various drills to stretch the squad. After that they underwent the dreaded 'Premier League Runs' - multiple, consecutive sprints of around 60m which were made even more difficult by the temperature in Alicante.
The squad then made their way to the pool for a much-needed recovery session, ahead of lunch. Gym work followed, before a snack prior to the evening training session.
After tactical work, the players took part in a small-sided game before the day ended with Dinner and a hotly contested team quiz between the squad.
Day Three sees an open training session from 10am at the Pinatar Arena - details here.
