Coventry City can confirm the loan signing of Jordan Maguire-Drew from Brighton and Hove Albion.

The winger, who can also play as a striker, has signed on loan with the Sky Blues until 31st May 2018, subject to Premier League clearance.

Maguire-Drew will be eligible for Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup tie against Stoke City at the Ricoh Arena, and has been handed squad number 17.

The 20-year-old is a product of the Seagulls’ Academy, and has had previous loans spells at Worthing, Dagenham and Redbridge and also this season at Lincoln City, where he played 14 times and scored 4 goals.

Sky Blues Manager Mark Robins said: “We targeted Jordan during the summer and unfortunately missed out, so we are very pleased to be able to bring him in now.

“He has great technical ability and quality, and is a scorer of goals, so we are delighted to get him through the door and for him to start with us.

“Having got into the top three of the league on Monday, Jordan will supplement our squad very well as we look to establish our position.”
