Last night the Sky Blues hosted coverage of BBC’s FA Cup coverage, ahead of the Fourth Round draw, which was live at the AMEX Stadium.
City were represented by Manager Mark Robins and current players, Michael Doyle, Jack Grimmer and Jordan Willis, reflecting on the win against Stoke.
The draw saw the Sky Blues have to travel to Stadium MK in the Fourth Round, when they face Robbie Neilson’s MK Dons.
Reflecting on the draw, Mark Robins insisted he was pleased with the draw and is hoping for progression to the next round with a win at MK.
"It's a good tie. I think they’ll be as pleased as we are.”
"It's fairly local. I think last time I went there and took a team there the previous time I was here, we won 3-2 and we took a fairly big following. It was about six or seven thousand.
"Hopefully we can do the same again and get a similar result."
Also in attendance at the draw were Coventry City legends, John Sillett, Steve Ogrizovic and Dave Bennett.
Reflecting on the win against Stoke City in the Third Round and when his side won the FA Cup, Sillett had this to say:
"It's a wonderful, wonderful city to be when you've come back with that trophy. I can't believe the reception we had.
"I can't believe how good a game we put on at Wembley, the boys played magnificently, great team spirit.
"I can see at the moment in this young side the same sort of spirit.
"It was here for the last match when they beat Stoke, we're going to take some beating, I don't care who we've drawn in the cup, we're going to take a lot of beating.
"It's vital to any team. If you've got that team spirit which Mark has built here with his youngsters, and Oggy (Steve Ogrizovic) has helped as well, we're all watching and all wondering, can we bring it back?
"Yes of course we can!"
