The Sky Blues extended their superb home form as of late, as they made it six wins on the bounce at the Ricoh against Swindon Town this past weekend.
A superb first league goal from Max Biamou gave City the lead and Marc McNulty converted from the spot to make it 2-0.
Swindon managed to get one back just before half-time, when Oliver Banks was on the end of a ball across the box.
Mark Robins side soaked up some early pressure at the start of the second-half and managed to put the game out of sight late on, when McNulty got his second of the afternoon.
