The Sky Blues will be celebrating Coventry’s victorious bid to be UK City of Culture in 2021 on Community Day.
Community Day takes place on Saturday 10th February at the Ricoh Arena for the visit of promotion rivals Accrington Stanley, with the action kicking off at 3pm.
Coventry City were supporters of the bid, whose success was announced in December.
Now, the Sky Blues have invited all of the bid partners and sponsors to enjoy the Community Day fixture at the Ricoh Arena for free to celebrate the success of the bid, with the bid team also guests of the club in the boardroom for the match.
Commercial Manager Tynan Scope said: “Like everyone in the city, we were delighted when Coventry was announced as the City of Culture for 2021.
“It will be a fantastic year for everyone in the city, and as thank you and to celebrate the achievement of everyone involved, we’re inviting the bid team and the sponsors along to the Community Day match.
“Hopefully by the end of the day, we’ll have three points to celebrate as well as the success of the City of Culture bid.”
