Sky Blues in the Community are launching an Advanced Development Course this February Half Term.
This will be staffed by our Level 3 UEFA “B” qualified Player Development Centre Coaches who also help identify talented individual’s for the CCFC Academy. The course is open to all players who are keen to develop their technical and tactical understanding of the game.
This course has been designed alongside our Academy Coaching Programme to have a holistic approach and to cover the FA 4 Corner Model to fit in with FA’s Future Player DNA.
The course will be for 8-14 years and will focus on our playing philosophy and principles of play; in possession, out of possession and transition. Each day will focus on one main theme, however all of our themes crossover and link in with each other.
Sky Blues in the Community’s primary focus is on all player’s developing and reach their long term potential through ages and stages.
Since the launch of the Player Development Centres over 400 players have been invited in for full trials with 92 successfully signing Academy contracts which is a record we are very proud off.
Specific Goal Keeper Training: In addition to the main themes on the course, there will also be a FA Qualified Goal Keeper coach present. Players will work in small groups to develop their goal keeping skills before joining the outfield players for further training.

Cost: The Advanced Development Course will cost £20.00 per day (Book on all three days and you will be entitled to a month FREE in our Player Development Centres worth £27.00 * Conditions apply.)
