7 December 2018

Jason Farndon's Sky Blues side secured a 5-0 victory away at The Lamb last night against Tamworth.

City came up against Tamworth in a friendly last night, as both sides looked to get minutes into players heading into next week's clash with Colchester United.

The Sky Blues had Chris Camwell returning to action, as well as Reise Allassani, who made his return from his loan spell with Ebbsfleet.

City took the lead through Josh Eccles, moments before Allassani doubled the lead heading into half-time.

Then, second half substitute, David Bremang hit a hat-trick after coming off the bench to put the game to bed.

Reflecting on the game, Jason Farndon was pleased with his sides performance and the opportunity to get minutes for players.

He said: "It was a good run out for the lads and a good opportunity for us to get minutes into players.

"We controlled the game in the first half and I thought the fitness and quality we have came through as the game went on.

"It was a good team performance and it was pleasing to see David Bremang get himself a hat-trick.

"We have a good relationship with Tamworth and I would like to thank them for their hospitality last night."
