It was a good weekend for Wrexham and Stuart Beavon, as they got back to winning ways in the National League on Saturday.

After losing manager Sam Ricketts to Shrewsbury Town, Graham Barrow continues to take charge for the Red Dragons.

Beavon played 80 minutes for Wrexham in the 2-0 win over Eastleigh and had a big part in the second goal, after playing through Rutherford who set-up Grant for the goal.

Jordan Ponticelli returned to Macclesfield at the start of the week, as the Silkmen start life under new manager, Sol Campbell.

Ponticelli was an unused substitute during the 1-0 defeat to Colchester United at the Job Serve Community Stadium, whilst Callum Maycock wasn’t involved in the matchday squad.

It was a disappointing afternoon for Mickleover Sports, as they fell to a 5-0 defeat against Buxton at Silverlands, with Reece Ford an unused substitute.

Elsewhere, Kyle Finn and Hereford’s fixture was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at AFC Guiseley.
