Macclesfield Town secured their first win in League Two under newly appointed manager, Sol Campbell this past weekend.

Jordan Ponticelli came on in the 55th minute of the second half, as he helped the Silkmen to see out the rest of the game and secure three vital points.

Callum Maycock wasn’t involved in the matchday squad, but Ponticelli impressed in his appearance off the bench.

Kyle Finn and Hereford FC continued their impressive results recently as the Bulls secured a 2-1 victory in FA Trophy action.

Finn started the game but was brought off after 67 minutes, as Hereford came from behind to beat Billericay Town to book their place in the next round.

Sky Blues defender, Reece Ford played a full 90 minutes for Mickleover Sports, as they suffered a 3-1 defeat to Grantham Town.

Elsewhere, Stuart Beavon was an unused substitute in Wrexham’s 3-0 win over Boston United in the FA Trophy.
