TEAM NEWS: Michael Doyle Makes 350th Sky Blues Appearance

Sky Blues take on Scunthorpe at the Ricoh Arena...

Sky Blues captain, Michael Doyle will make his 350th appearance for the club this afternoon against Scunthorpe United.

Having joined the club back in July 2003, the 36 year-old has enjoyed a succesful career, with City and elsewhere.

Doyle will captain the side this afternoon, as the Sky Blues open their League One 2018/19 season against Scunthorpe United at the Ricoh Arena.

Liam O'Brien starts in goal for Mark Robins side, with Corey Addai on the bench. Lee Burge misses the game through injury.

Dujon Sterling and Brandon Mason are handed debuts in the fullback positions and elsewhere, Jordan Willis and Dom Hyam are at centre-back.

Abu Ogogo, who signed from Shrewsbury Town makes his debut in the centre of midfield alongside Michael Doyle.

Tom Bayliss returns from England duty to slot into the side, alongside Tony Andreu who makes his return from injury.

Jordy Hiwula, who joined the Sky Blues earlier this week, make his debut and finally Max Biamou looks set to lead the line.
