The Gaffer talks through several of the players...

The Sky Blues will have Lee Burge back in contention ahead of the trip to AFC Wimbledon this weekend in League One action.

The Goalkeeper missed the game against Scunthorpe United last weekend but will be in the squad for the clash at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

Elsewhere, midfielder Liam Kelly is stepping up his fitness as he looks to get back in with a shout for a place in the squad.

Robins said: “Liam Kelly played in a game on Monday and did well for 65 minutes or so and had a little bit of a reaction to his achilles on Tuesday so he missed training.

“He’s trained the last few days and he’s very close to being fit and ready. He’s raring to go anyway, even when he’s out his working hard in the gym.”

Aside from Liam, Robins told how there is no new injury concerns in his side following on from the opening day fixture against Scunthorpe last week.

“There’s nothing new, no new injuries and we look in fairly good health.

“We go there (AFC Wimbledon) with optimism and knowing it’s a hard game to face, but a really good game.

“They won last week in a really good result against Fleetwood and this is there first home game of the season so we will go there with real confidence but with a plan of how we can hurt them.”

Finally, after a three-game ban which has stretched over four months, defender Tom Davies will be available for selection this weekend.

Talking about his return, Robins joked: “It’s nice to have Tom Davies available, he has been out longer then Eric Cantona, so it’s certainly good to have him back.”
