Coventry City secured all three points against the Boro on Friday night, thanks to a brace from Marc McNulty and a first goal for Liam Kelly.
Two goals for Sparky means he has now reached 20 league goals for the season and 23 in all competitions during his maiden season for the Sky Blues.
Elsewhere, Liam Kelly helped to secure all three points with a fantastic strike into the bottom corner just before half-time.
The win means Mark Robins side are now in sixth position, three points clear of Mansfield Town who are currently outside the play-off places.
