Coventry City were beaten 2-1 at Notts County on Saturday, despite Jordan Ponticelli's first league goal for the club
After Checkatrade Trophy and Emirates FA Cup strikes earlier in the season, the 19-year-old opened his league account to equalise for the Sky Blues in the 85th minute.
The goal came after Jonathan Forte had opened the scoring for the hosts in the second half, and the striker added to his tally just a minute after City had brought the scores level.
Forte's 86th minute goal proved decisive to give the home side all three points in front of a crowd of 10,316 at Meadow Lane - including a superb 4,149 of the Sky Blue Army.
The result sees the Sky Blues remain in 7th place in the League Two table and in the play-off places - two points ahead of Mansfield and Swindon in 8th and 9th respectively.
The next match for Mark Robins' side is Saturday's away trip to Crawley Town.
