In partnership with Coventry College, Sky Blues in the Community are offering young people the chance to study full-time towards a career in sport whilst representing Coventry City.
Alongside studying towards a Level 3 Diploma in Sport, students participate in weekly training sessions which includes football coaching, strength and conditioning training, game analysis, fitness testing and weekly fixtures – representing Coventry City. Sky Blues in the Community also offer students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience too.
The next trial dates and information day for the Sky Blues Football Academy will be on Wednesday 11th April at Henley Campus, 10:00am-2:45pm.
Chloe Groves, Football Development Manager at Sky Blues in the Community, said: “The trial day is a great opportunity for young people to see what it’s like to be a college student whilst being part of a football academy. We have excellent quality coaching within the academy, which complements the educational delivery within the programme, this is so important whilst developing as a young adult. We have our next trial day in April, so it will be great to see as many as we can attending!”
If you are interested in attending the trial date please contact Sky Blues in the Community’s Football Development Manager, Chloe Groves via Email: chloe.groves@ccfc.co.uk or Telephone: 024 7678 6314.
