OTHER INFORMATION:

Cambridge United have partnered with Stagecoach to provide supporters additional car parking and travel to the Cambs Glass Stadium on match day, with an initial trial taking place at the fixture against the Sky Blues.

In conjunction with Cambridgeshire County Council, the trialled match day service will be available for both home and away supporters.

The service will allow fans to park their vehicles at Newmarket Road Park and Ride for just £1 and use the bus service, with a return fare priced at £2.50. The service stops at the match day only stop located outside the Cambs Glass stadium.

Meanwhile, the return journey will align passengers from the layby on the opposite side of the road. A bus will be waiting to board supporters at the final whistle, and will time its arrival in line with the end of the match.

The scheme aims to positively affect the traffic flows on Newmarket Road and the surrounding areas, in order to allow easier access to supporters on match day as well as minimise the disruption to local residents.

If you have any questions in regards to this service please contact Secretary@cambridge-united.co.uk, or alternatively contact Stagecoach at cambridge.enquiries@stagecoachbus.com, and Cambridge County Council at Highway.Events@cambridgeshire.gov.uk.
