The Sky Blues' Development side continued their good start to the campaign after a comeback victory against Sheffield United...

Billy Stedman and Bilal Sayoud were on target for Nicky Eaden's side, as City remain unbeaten with four wins in the opening five fixtures.

The travelling Blades took an early lead in just the 6th minute after a missed header from the City defence. A ball over the top found the run of Jordan Hallam, and the winger took one touch before placing the ball past Addai and into the near corner to put his side ahead.

Difficult weather conditions played a part, particularly in the first half, as both sides struggled to create much in a rather low-key first 45-minutes of action.

A rejuvenated Sky Blues side found themselves on level terms just five minutes into the second half through Stedman. A poor backpass was intercepted by the midfielder, who then had the easiest of jobs to finish from a matter of yards.

Chances began to flow for the hosts and first-year scholar Morgan Crowther came close to giving City the lead on the hour mark. Chris Camwell's low, skidding delivery found the striker, but his effort was saved well by Marcus Dewhurst in the United goal.

However, the Sky Blues would not have to wait long before taking the lead. A cross from the left evaded everyone, including the Blades 'keeper and fell to Sayoud at the back post. The winger had the composure to bring it down before calmly finishing from close range.

Tyler Smith had the best opportunity for the visitors with fifteen minutes remaining, swivelling inside the area before blazing over, as City held on to continue their impressive start in the Development League.
