The Sky Blues will be looking to make it three wins on the bounce tomorrow as they welcome Crewe Alexandra to the Ricoh.
Tuesday night's 2-1 turnaround victory away to Swindon took City to Fourth in SkyBet League Two but it is at home that Mark Robins' side have thrived, conceding only once in the opening four games at the Ricoh.
"Spirits are high," said Willis.
"We are coming off the back of a few good results so we are hoping that continues into tomorrow.
"We knew after last season that expectations would be high, and that this is a standard that we set ourselves so we are thriving on that right now.
"Every win we get is satisfying and to go away from home and get the win was even better, because our home form is so much better than our away form.
As a duo, Willis and Rod McDonald have become to strongest centre-back pairing in the division, conceding just five, the least of any side.
"I think we are building a good relationship with eachother. Hopefully it can continue.
"Rod and I, are quite similar. We are both athletic and mobile. He is a little more dominant but I am a little more agile so I think we coompliment eachother well.
"As defenders you want to keep clean sheets and we have done that a lot so far. It helps us out aswell with the two holding-midfielders infront of us.
"They screen very well and stop the balls going into the strikers feet and the second balls Doyle and Kelly will land on those all day aswell.
He added: "No games are straight forward, but as long as we continue doing what we are doing and moving the ball and show what we can do on the pitch then I am sure we can come away with the win."
