The Sky Blues snapped the league leaders' unbeaten record after a 2-0 victory against Exeter City on Saturday...
A late change due to an injury in the warm-up to Stuart Beavon gave Devon Kelly-Evans the opportunity to start his first League Two game for the Sky Blues.
After a tight first-half with chances at a premium, the deadlock was broken courtesy of a Troy Brown own goal. Jodi Jones' drilled cross low along the six-yard box was diverted into his own net by the defender to give City the lead.
Further chances followed, with Chris Stokes hitting the crossbar and Jones denied by 'keeper Christy Pym before Kelly-Evans marked his first start with his first league goal to seal the three points for Mark Robins' side.
With fixtures coming thick and fast, City are next in action tomorrow night as they travel to Swindon Town.
