INTERVIEW: Mark Robins previews the Sky Blues' League Two trip to Barnet

The Sky Blues look to make it four league wins on the bounce at the Hive...

Mark Robins' side make the trip to Barnet's Hive Stadium knowing that an early kick-off victory will see them go at least temporarily top of SkyBet League Two.

Win and the Sky Blues make it four league wins on the bounce and continue to keep pace with the league leaders.

"The squad are excited about any game at the minute because we are working hard," said Robins.

"Tuesday night's trip to Walsall was a really good game. There were lads there that needed games along with young players who wanted the opportunity.

"We came out with a really good second half performance with goals. Jordan Ponticelli got on the score sheet and that will be the first of many.

"Again, we are going away to a good side. It is a first for me, I've never been to the Hive and it is live on TV so that is another thing added into the mix.

"We are aware of their threats. We are aware of what they are capable of and we know that we need to work as hard as we can.

City will be without top scorer Duckens Nazon for this one. The forward on-loan from Wolves is away in Japan on international duty with Haiti so it will be up to another one of Robins' many attacking ptions to fill the void.

"It is a loss for us because he has been doing really well.

"You are looking for that extra little bit of something from somebody else. Can somebody else get out there and get on the score sheet, and then look to make it difficult for Duckens when he comes back? That is what i am looking for.

"That for me is an important part of it. We have got a really good squad and they are all working in the same way.

He added: "There aren't any players tripping over their bottom lips at the moment. They know that the team are playing well and everybody is behind them. That bodes really well for us."
