Sky Blues boss Mark Robins has chosen a much changed side for tonight’s Checkatrade Trophy game against West Bromwich Albion.

While sticking within the competition rules, Robins has taken the opportunity to give some of the City squad valuable playing time.

Liam O’Brien starts in goal, with Lee Burge on the bench.

The back four is changed completely, with Dion Kelly-Evans and Chris Stokes occupying the full-back berths and Jordan Willis and Dominic Hyam the centre-half pairing.

Ben Stevenson and Callum Maycock come into centre midfield, with Peter Vincenti and Devon Kelly-Evans either side.

Up front, Kwame Thomas makes his first appearance of the season and leads the line alongside Stuart Beavon.

On the bench, Under 23s players Reece Ford, Darragh Leahy, Jordan Thompson, Kyle Finn and Tom Bayliss all feature, alongside Burge and Max Biamou.

Coventry City XI: O’Brien, Dion Kelly-Evans, Willis, Hyam, Stokes, Stevenson, Maycock, Vincenti, Devon Kelly-Evans, Beavon, Thomas.

Subs: Burge, Ford, Thompson, Leahy, Finn, Bayliss, Biamou.

West Brom U21: Palmer, Burke, Morton, Melbourne, Soleman, Jameson, Bradley, Ferguson, Clayton-Phillips, Azaz, Brown
