PREVIEW: Coventry City v Mansfield Town - City look to end Mansfield's sunbeaten run

Mark Robins's side face the Stags at the Ricoh...

10 November 2017

The Sky Blues welcome Mansfield Town to the Ricoh tomorrow as they look to end the Stag's six game unbeaten run in all competitions.

Despite the seemingly impressive run of form, it has been actually six games without a win in the league and the Yellow's have not won away in SkyBet League Two since Septembers trip to Lincoln.

Steve Evans' side will be without several key individuals for tomorrow's clash. Krystian Pearce and Jacob Mellis both miss out through suspension.

Summer signing Lee Angol has a knee problem along with David Mirfin who's hamstring injury keeps him out of contention.

Duckens Nazon, away on International duty with Haiti, will miss this one along with Tony Andreu who remains Mark Robins' only player sidelined through injury, as the Frenchman looks to get back to full fitness before the end of the season.

The Opponents

Former Bury and Barnsley forward Danny Rose will be one to watch tomorrow. The 23-year-old has scored eight already in the league this season along with two in five minutes against Shaw Lane AFC in the FA Cup last weekend.

Due to selection nightmares for Evans, former Rochdale defender Rhys Bennett is likely to make a return to the side. The towering defender won Players' Player fo the Season last campaign in his first with the club.

Joel Byrom is another to keep an eye out for in midfield. The hard working central midfielder helped Northampton Town in promotion to Sky Bet League One in 2016 and also won back-to-back promotions with Stevenage prior to that.

Likely Mansfield Eleven

Logan (GK); Anderson, Diamond, Bennett, Benning; MacDonald, Byrom, Atkinson, Hamilton; Rose, Hemmings.
