The Sky Blues will be helping turn on the Christmas Lights in Coventry City Centre this evening!
Defender Chris Stokes will be joined by mascot Sky Blue Sam on stage in Broadgate this evening, alongside matchday announcer John Dalziel from Free Radio.
The Sky Blues will feature in the Ikea Christmas Tree Challenge – where lfour local sport stars are competing to decorate the best Christmas Tree! Ben Stevenson represented the Sky Blues, with help from Sky Blue Sam – will their efforts be enough to win?!
Singer and member of the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel Alesha Dixon, will be the special guest at this year’s Christmas Lights Switch-on, organised by Coventry BID and supported by Coventry City Council.
Free Radio favourites JD and Roisin will be the hosts for the extravaganza and the line-up will also include some of the area’s top talent as well as appearances from local sports stars.
The lights switch-on will take place between 5pm and 8pm, with the Sky Blues on stage from around 6pm, before Alesha will be hitting the stage to perform and turn the lights on from 7.30pm.
