LOAN: Delight For Kwame On Debut For Solihull Moors

Striker scores on debut against Maidstone United...

It was a great start to life on loan for Kwame Thomas, as he got off the mark on his debut this past weekend against Maidstone United.

Thomas joined Solihull Moors on a short term loan last week on Friday and on the Saturday he was in the starting eleven for the away trip in the National League.

After Maidstone took the lead in the first minute, Moors were chasing the game and they were rewarded when Kwame tapped home to level it up.

Solihull came away with a point and it helped to lift them from the bottom of the table, leapfrogging Torquay United.

Elsewhere, Jordan Turnbull got another 90 minutes under his belt for Partick Thistle, as they came up against Hearts away from home in the Scottish Premier League.

Thistle came away with a point, as they drew 1-1 and helped their cause to climb out the bottom two to go within a point of Kilmarnock.

Finally, Kyel Reid came off the bench for Colchester United on Saturday, during their 0-0 draw at home to Morecambe.

Reid came on with 11 minutes left on the clock, but was unable to help force the break through and United remain four points off the play-offs.
