Saturday’s fixture against Mansfield Town has been chosen as the Sky Blues in the Community Holiday Camp Award Winners Match-Day.
Children who were awarded the Respect, Coaches or Star Player Awards from the October Holiday Camp will have the opportunity to experience an exciting skills-based session, delivered by Sky Blues Coaches on the pitch at half-time.
We hope Sky Blues fans will join us in congratulating all of the winners and enjoy watching them show off their best moves in front of the Sky Blues faithful at half time of Saturday’s game.
Throughout each school holiday, Sky Blues in the Community run three football-based holiday camps at Bedworth Oval, Bablake Playing Fields and The Alan Higgs Centre. FA qualified coaches deliver fun and engaging football drills, challenges and activities designed to improve the skills of both boys and girls of all abilities between the ages of 5 and 12. They are a great way to keep your child fit and active during the holidays and prices start at just £10 per day!
In addition to this, children play tournaments and matches each day where they get to try out the new skills they have learnt and compete in small-sided games against friends and other children within their age group.
Everyone at Coventry City Football Club wishes to thank all of the children who have attended one of the recent Sky Blues in the Community Holiday Camps and congratulate all of the winners who have received a free adult and child ticket to attend the game against Mansfield as well as a Sky Blue Sam Certificate and special Holiday Camp Winners trophy for 2017.
Sky Blues in the Community’s next Football Holiday Camp will be taking place during the Christmas Break at The Alan Higgs Centre on Tuesday 2nd, Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th January 2018. You can book online anytime at www.officialsoccerschools.co.uk/coventrycity
