Coventry City can confirm that Liam Kelly has agreed a contract with the football club and will officially transfer to the Sky Blues from Leyton Orient on 1st July.
The transfer is subject to EFL & FA approval.
The Milton Keynes born midfielder has signed a two year deal with the club.
The 27 year old started his career at Kilmarnock in 2009, where he made over 100 appearances, before a move to Bristol City in 2013.
After one season with Bristol City, Kelly moved on to Oldham where he was named club captain. Following a two year spell with the Latics, the midfielder moved to Leyton Orient last summer where he was again made captain.
Coventry City Manager Mark Robins said: “We’re delighted at the prospect of welcoming Liam to the club.
“He is a very talented footballer who will contribute goals from midfield for us, which is something that is vital to any successful team.
“Liam is also a leader both on and off the pitch, and a fantastic character to have around the club.
“I’m looking forward to working with him.”
