18s skipper on the prospect of being crowned National Champions at Bramall Lane against the Blades...

Under-18s captain Tom Bayliss is hoping to finish what has been a fantastic season for the young Sky Blues with victory in the National Championship Final.

Jason Farndon's Under-18s side travel to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United, and the midfielder is relishing the prospect of playing in such an important fixture.

"It's a big occasion for everybody tomorrow, it has been a really successful and enjoyable season and we'll all be trying to cap it off by winning the game tomorrow evening.

"The last game for some us was at the Ricoh against Millwall for the Under-23s, so I certainly don't think they'll be many nerves going into the game.

"I personally love going to different stadiums and gaining the experience that comes with it, and I'm sure the lads do as well. For us it will just be another game that we'll be trying to perform well and win.

The Sky Blues faced off against Sheffield United at the beginning of the campaign and suffered one of only five defeats throughout the entire season.

"I am expecting a tough game, probably the hardest fixture we've had all season. They were very physical and quite direct at the beginning of the season so it'll be a good challenge.

"We like to play a little differently by keeping possession and looking to tire the opposition, so it'll be a good game with two contrasting styles of play.

He added: "In the semi-final, everyone apart from two players had been here since the Under-11s so we all know each other, we know how we play and that helps massively.
