The Sky Blues ended their 2016/17 campaign with a 3-1 defeat against play-off chasing Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park.
Mark Robins' side took the lead ten minutes before half-time, as Vladimir Gadzhev scored his first league goal for the Sky Blues. The midfielder's deflected strike wrong-footed goalkeeper Joe Anyon and found the bottom corner.
Kevin van Veen scored the equalising goal from long-range, before Neil Bishop and Hakeeb Adelakun completed the win with two goals in the final five minutes.
