Legendary FA Cup winning boss John Sillett has given the Sky Blues some inspirational words ahead of this Sunday's Wembley Visit.
Mark Robins' side face Oxford United in the Checkatrade Trophy Final, thirty years since the memorable FA Cup winning side in 1987, led by John Sillett.
Speaking to the Coventry Observer, Sillett said: “I’d be saying to them, ‘you’ve got the chance of a lifetime to be an idol for the city of Coventry. Go out and make sure your game is better than your opponent’s.
“Stick your chest out as you go out down the tunnel and hear that magnificent roar. It’ll make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up."
