It is your chance to donate towards the Air Ambulance, with collections taking place before kick off...
Coventry City will welcome collectors for the Air Ambulance to Saturday’s match against Bradford City.
Collectors for the charity will be collecting outside turnstiles and in corporate lounges from 1:30pm up until kick off as the Sky Blues face The Bantams in SkyBet League One.
The Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) attends 1000 missions a year - each costing around £1700. They provide the best possible pre-hospital care and rapid transport to specialist hospitals, for those suffering from serious injury and illness. WNAA receive no Government funding, relying solely on donations.
WNAA fly two regional air ambulances, across the counties of Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland. These two helicopters provide a rapid response to trauma and medical emergencies over an area of 3850 square miles covering many of the UK’s major road networks including the M1, M6, M69 and M42. With an average response of just 13 minutes, between them they attend on average 6 missions a day.
