Coventry City can confirm that Maxime Biamou has agreed to join the Sky Blues on a transfer from Sutton United for an undisclosed fee...
The 26-year old striker has put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the Sky Blues, with the transfer subject to completion of a medical.
Biamou scored 14 goals for Sutton last season, including three in their memorable Emirates FA Cup run.
The Frenchman started his career in his native country, before moving to England with Sutton last Summer.
Manager Mark Robins said: “I’m delighted to welcome Maxime to Coventry City, having beaten a number of other clubs at our level to his signature.
“He provides an important different option to the attacking threats which we currently have.
“He is a raw talent with pace, power and aggression, and is also good in the air. We look forward to working with him and developing his ability further.”
