Coventry City have confirmed a pre-season tour to Spain.
The Sky Blues will fly out to the Alicante region on Sunday 9th July, following the opening pre-season friendly at Sutton, and return to the UK on Saturday 15th July.
Manager Mark Robins has lined up two fixtures while on the continent, with matches to take place on Tuesday 11th July and Friday 14th July – opposition and venue to be confirmed.
The tour represents an opportunity for the new look Sky Blues squad to get together and bond, while undergoing training and fitness work ahead of the SkyBet League Two kick-off on the weekend of 5th August.
Manager Mark Robins said: “It’s really important that we get everybody together in a different environment to prepare intensely for the season ahead. It will be very competitive and a vital part of our preparation.”
The club will be organising packages for fans who wish to stay near to the Sky Blues in Alicante for the tour, with match tickets included.
