Coventry City will play twice during their pre-season tour, with both fixtures due to be played at the Pinatar Arena..

The Sky Blues will face Ligue 2 outfit Valenciennes, who finished 14th in the second tier of French football last season, on Tuesday 11th July with a 7pm kick off.

Mark Robins' side return to the Pinatar Arena three days later on Friday 14th July, with the opposition yet to be confirmed.

For the Sky Blue fans wanting to attend either fixture, the Pinatar Arena is located at San Pedro del Pinatar, 30740, Murcia.

City will fly out to the Alicante region on Sunday 9th July, following the opening pre-season friendly at Sutton United, and return to the UK on Saturday 15th July.

The tour represents an opportunity for the new look Sky Blues squad to get together and bond, with Maxime Biamou confirmed earlier today as the eighth new addition this summer ahead of the 2017/18 League Two campaign.

Manager Mark Robins said: “It’s really important that we get everybody together in a different environment to prepare intensely for the season ahead. It will be very competitive and a vital part of our preparation.”

We will keep you fully updated with further details of the tour when confirmed, plus provide full coverage of the tour.
