Coventry City confirmed it's seventh addition of the Summer Transfer Window, with Peter Vincenti joining from Rochdale...
The 30-year old signed a two-year contract, ending a four-year spell at Spotland to join Mark Robins' squad ahead of the League Two opener.
The Sky Blues face Notts County on the opening day of the 2017/18 season and Vincenti is hoping his prior experience in the competition can prove beneficial this time around.
"I'm over the moon, it is an exciting challenge and one I'm looking forward to. I still had a year left at Rochdale, but Coventry made contact and I was drawn to the club ever since I heard of the interest," He said.
"I may use my experience subconsciously as some of the more experienced players can help the younger lads move along, but I think that is something people do naturally.
"I've played in League Two before and I've got a promotion, so hopefully that can help this season and I can provide help to anybody that may need it based on my past."
Vincenti joined Rochdale in 2013, becoming an ever-present in his first season at the club, making 49 appearances and scoring on seven occassions as the Dale gained promotion to League One.
"I want to repeat that feeling, I've done it before and I want to do it again. It was a great time and memories that I've made, but I'm still in this game to make more memories.
"With Coventry in League Two, that's certanly the goal of everybody associated with the club here,"
He added: "It's nice to have the time off, we've had a nice little break, but once it gets to the last week before pre-season starts, you just want to get back playing and I can't wait to get started."
