NEWS: Sky Blues recruiting for matchday scoreboard and audio operators

17 July 2017

Coventry City is looking for a matchday scoreboard operator and a matchday audio operator for the new 2017/18 season to join the Matchday Production team.

The scoreboard operator and audio operator are both based in the Ricoh Arena scoreboard room in the South-West corner from where they can watch the game.

Duties include updating the scoreboard and audio playback system according to the matchday production schedule, updating the scoreboard with messages and announcements before, during and after the game and liaising with the matchday announcer through the matchday. They will also be required to show replays of key incidents through the game on the scoreboard.

These roles would be ideal for someone with an interest in video/audio production and is a great opportunity to join the matchday team at the club.

Experience with the V-Mix scoreboard system is desirable but not essential for the Scoreboard Operator role. Experience in professional music playback is desirable but not essential for the Audio Operator role.

Training will be provided and you will be required to attend all home games – including cup games. Initially, hours are from 2 hours before kick-off to full-time of each match.

If you’re interested in either of these roles, please send a copy of your CV to Mark.Hornby@ccfc.co.uk. The deadline is Monday 24th July.

Applicants must be aged 18 or over.
