Coventry City’s group for the opening stage of the Checkatrade Trophy has been confirmed.
The Sky Blues are defending the Trophy following April’s 2-1 win at Wembley over Oxford United.
City already knew that they would face League One sides Walsall and Shrewsbury Town in Group E of the Northern Section.
Today’s draw sees Category 1 club West Bromwich Albion added to the group.
The Sky Blues group fixtures are provisionally scheduled as:
WC 28th August: Coventry City v Shrewsbury Town
WC 2nd October: Walsall v Coventry City
WC 6th November: Coventry City v West Bromwich Albion
