Academy graduate Tom Bayliss has been handed his first start for the Sky Blues as Mark Robins makes three changes.
The 18-year-old has featured twice already from the bench for the Sky Blues but makes his first start replacing Ben Stevenson, alongside captain Michael Doyle and Jordan Shipley in midfield.
Jordan Willis makes his 150th appearance for Coventry. His first came just over six years ago in a clash with Southampton at the Ricoh and the defender will be paired in defence by his usual partners Rod McDonald and Jack Grimmer.
The only change in defence sees Chris Stokes return in place of Ryan Haynes. Lee Burge keeps his place behind the back four.
In attack for City, Max Biamou leads the line with Marc McNulty and Peter Vincenti, in for Duckens Nazon, either side.
Coventry City XI: Burge; Grimmer, Willis, McDonald, Stokes; Bayliss, Doyle (C) Shipley; McNulty, Biamou, Vincenti.
