Coventry City are delighted to confirm the signing of midfielder Tony Andreu from Championship side Norwich City...

The 29-year old joins the Sky Blues on a two-year deal after leaving the Canaries by mutual consent.

Andreu began his career in France with AS Monaco, also having spells in neighbouring Switzerland at Chenois and Stade Nyonnais, where he made over 70 appearances.

His most productive spell came during his time in Scotland with firstly Livingston, and then Hamilton Academical. The attacking midfielder scored an impressive 25 goals in 58 appearances for the Accies during a two-year stay.

Andreu's spent the second half of last season on loan at Dundee United, scoring a further 13 goals North of the border.

Manager Mark Robins said: "I am delighted we have managed to get the signing of Tony over the line, it seems like we have been waiting a long time.

"He is a player that has been on our radar for a while and he is also familiar with some of the playing squad already having played alongside Marc McNulty in Scotland.

"I believe the supporters will like him. He is a goalscoring number ten and a versatile attacking player that can play anywhere along the forward line."

Tony will be eligible for selection subject to EFL registration.
