Coventry City have completed the signing of Defender James Pearson...
Pearson, who was a free agent, joins on non-contract terms and is eligible to play in the Sky Blues’ opening day fixture at home to Notts County.
The 24-year-old has been on trial with the club in the build-up to the season, and is comfortable either at right back or centre half.
Pearson started his career at Rotherham before joining Leicester City, then managed by his dad Nigel Pearson, and has enjoyed loan spells Carlisle United, Wrexham and Peterborough United. More recently he was on Barnet’s books until leaving at the end of last season.
