Coventry City have appointed Adi Viveash as acting Assistant Manager.

Adi will cover for Steve Taylor until Steve returns to the club following his recovery from illness.

Viveash left his role as Chelsea Development Squad Manager in the Summer, following a hugely successful nine year spell at the club. He coached the Blues’ Under-18s to three consecutive FA Youth Cup finals, before taking over the development squad.

The 47 year old also managed the side in the UEFA Youth League, which Chelsea won in 2015 and 2016.

This followed a playing career which included spells at Swindon, Reading and Walsall, where he played alongside Sky Blues boss Mark Robins.

Manager Mark Robins said: “Adi will bring with him a great amount of experience and knowledge to the club in Steve’s absence. We look forward to working with him during this period.”
