INJURY NEWS: Mark Robins assesses the fitness of his squad before trip to Sheffield

4 April 2017

Jordan Willis may be a doubt after being forced off against Oxford on Sunday...

The City boss has tasked his young charges with harnessing the momentum from Sunday's trophy final win, and the two wins prior, to cause an upset against league leaders Sheffield United tomorrow evening.

Callum Reilly is likely to miss out after tweaking a hamstring in training last week, while Kwame Thomas is also absent with a groin strain.

Mark Robins said: “There is a lot of fatigue from the weekend, a lot of tiredness. We haven’t got a crystal ball, it is a quick turnaround from Wembley.

“Today has been our first day to assess the fallout. Callum Reilly missed out because he pulled up on Friday, which was really unlucky.

“But Ben, Gael and Ruben were outstanding in the game, other players stepped up. We’ll look for the same thing tomorrow night.”
