Goals from academy pairing Gael Bigirimana and George Thomas ensured the Sky Blues were crowned Checkatrade Trophy champions 2017.
A first-half effort from Bigirimana gave City the edge, before Thomas doubled the advantage with a superbly struck half-volley.
A nervy last ten minutes ensued as Liam Sercombe pulled one back for Oxford, and Bigirimana was forced in to a goal line clearance, but the Sky Blues emerged victorious.
