Mark Venus has been nominated for the October SkyBet League One Manager of the Month award after an impressive start to his tenure.The Sky Blues began the month with their first victory of the current campaign, defeating Port Vale, who at the time had a 100% home record at Vale Park.
Victories against Oxford United and Rochdale in the space of four days followed, and a 1-1 result away at Walsall made it three wins and a draw from five games during October to lift City to 19th in the table.
Other nominees included: AFC Wimbledon's Neil Ardley, Phil Parkinson of Bolton Wanderers and Graham Alexander of table topping Scunthorpe United.
The winner will be announced on Friday morning.
