On Sunday, 20th November from 1pm-4pm, ‘Big Ron’ will be in the Arena Shopping Park to sign copies of his new book ‘The Manager’.
In his new autobiography, Atkinson delves into the highs and lows of an extraordinary career which encompassed playing, managing and commentating on football.
After playing nearly 400 league games for Oxford United, Atkinson went on to manage the likes of West Bromwich Albion, Manchester United and Atletico Madrid, and become a high profile TV pundit.
His illustrious managerial career included a spell at Highfield Road from February 1995 until November 1996, during which time he brought players such as Noel Whelan, Gary McAllister and Gordon Strachan to the club.
