Sky Blues defender and captain Sam Ricketts has taken the difficult to decision to announce his retirement from the game following advice from doctors about the condition of his knee.Ricketts made a total of 56 appearances for City, and has captained the side since his arrival in the summer of 2015.
Coventry City FC would like to thank Sam for his fantastic service to the club over the past 18 months and wish him all the best for the future.
