Ahead of City’s League One clash with table toppers Scunthorpe tomorrow, Mark Venus has been given a boost to his squad following the return to fitness of the 29-year old midfielder.
It was also reported that Chris Stokes may return to training in the not too distant future, following a persistent knee problem.
Venus said: “Gadzhev has trained the last couple of days, so he’ll be available for selection.
“Chris Stokes is still with the medical team, I hope he’ll return to grass based training in the next few weeks.
“The players who played midweek did their chances no harm, we made some changes at half-time and I thought those three really injected some athleticism in to the game.”
