INJURY NEWS: "Andy is an athletic midfield player who gives a goal threat, so he’ll be missed." - Coventry City's Mark Venus

Sky Blues interim boss gives an assessment on the fitness of his squad as they prepare to travel to Greater Manchester...

Mark Venus confirms that midfielder Andy Rose will miss the trip to Bolton with a thigh strain, having also sat out of the weekend's action.

Kwame Thomas remains sidelined, while Chris Stokes has returned to grass based training.

Mark Venus said: “Andy Rose is out, he’s got a thigh strain. He had it previously and it has resurfaced, he won’t be available for Tuesday.

“Andy is an athletic midfield player who gives a goal threat, so he’ll be missed.

“Kwame Thomas won’t be fit for another six weeks, and Chris Stokes is on the edge of it. It won’t be long before he is training every day and then he’ll need to work on his match fitness.”
