NEWS: Coventry City release ten players including Reda Johnson, Aaron Martin and Conor Thomas

City will enter negotiations with captain Sam Ricketts and striker Marcus Tudgay to extend their stay at the club...

Coventry City release ten players after the end of the 2015/16 season.

Reda Johnson, Conor Thomas, Aaron Martin, Martin Lorentzson, Jim O'Brien, Aaron Phillips, Peter Ramage, Stephen Hunt and Darius Henderson will all be released following the end of their contracts.

Striker Marc-Antoine Fortune has had his contract cancelled immediately to help facilitate the next stage of his career and Joe Cole had his contract cancelled ahead of the final game of the season against Oldham Athletic.

Midfielder John Fleck will be offered a new contract with the club and the one-year extension option on Chris Stokes' contract will be taken up.

The club will enter negotiations with captain Sam Ricketts and striker Marcus Tudgay to extend their stay with the club.

Under-21s players Dion Kelly-Evans, Devon Kelly-Evans and Kyle Spence have all been offered new contacts, and midfielder Ivor Lawton will also be offered a new contract.
