5 May 2016

The Sky Blues have also announced a refund scheme to encourage more supporters to purchase season tickets...

Coventry City have today confirmed Season Ticket information for their 2016/17 campaign.

The Sky Blues’ Ticketmaster season ticket cards will be on sale from today with the early bird period lasting until Sunday, June 5th.

The new ticketing system will allow supporters to buy their tickets online and over the phone with the help of a dedicated call centre. Supporters will also be able to pay for their 2016/17 season ticket through 10 instalments with the Zebra Finance option now available.

Money Back. For the first time ever, the club has also decided to introduce a refund scheme to encourage more City supporters to sign up and back the Sky Blues for the 2016/17 season at the Ricoh Arena.

The scheme has four different sales targets, with a maximum discount of 30% and the size of the refund depending on the number of season cards sold. If the club sells over 7,000 season tickets, fans will receive a refund of 10%. If the club sells 8,500, fans will receive a refund of 15%. If the club reaches the magic mark of 10,000, fans will receive a refund of 20% and if we reach 15,000, a 30% discount will apply. If we reach the required targets, supporters will receive money back on their Season Ticket cards, which can be used for your 2017/18 Season Ticket.

For early bird purchases, the club have also decided to pay for the £6 Ticketmaster service charge of associated with buying a season ticket card.

Kids Free. The club is committed to keeping football affordable for families and has made several changes to the age brackets of the concession and junior pricing to watch the Sky Blues at the Ricoh Arena anywhere in the stadium. The offer of FREE football has been extended by a year to Under-13s, meaning any JSB member under this age will be entitled to a free season ticket when accompanied by a paying adult.

The new pricing structure for the 2016/17 season means a family of four will be able to watch the Sky Blues next season for just £26 per match.

Another change sees the creation of the Young Sky Blue season ticket which will see 16 to 18-year olds save £91 on their season ticket from the 2015/16 season.

Executive Vice Chairman Chris Anderson said: “We’re pleased to be able to confirm the 2016/17 season ticket prices for our next campaign.

“The announcement sees a return to the 2012/13 and 2014/15 pricing structure with several amendments designed to help families watch the Sky Blues at the Ricoh Arena. We’ve also introduced the discount scheme to reward supporters for backing the club in numbers.

“During the 2015/16 season, we saw a significant rise in attendance on the previous season in both full and half season ticket as well as Match Day ticket purchases. If more fans could sign up for the whole season, we want to reward that loyalty with substantial discounts.

“The introduction of the Young Sky Blue ticket and the extension of the free season ticket to Under-13s will help families enjoy the football on display together as we look to make further progress on the pitch next season.

“I’m also delighted to announce that supporters will now be able to pay for their season ticket in monthly instalments through Zebra Finance and I’m sure supporters will enjoy the improved system Ticketmaster has provided us with.”
