Coventry City striker Adam Armstrong scored a stunning goal for the England Under-19s yesterday as they beat Spain.
The 19-year old has spent the week away from the Sky Blues after an international call-up with the England U19s squad.
Armstrong played in all three Young Lions fixtures, converting a penalty against Greece in a 1-1 draw and a netting his second against the hosts Spain in a 2-0 win.
The win earned England’s U19s progression from the Elite Qualifying round as they take up a place in July’s Euro finals.
Armstrong will return to club duty in time for the Coventry City’s League One fixture against Gillingham this coming Saturday.
